CALL FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
Submit Before 20th December 2016
Abstract for presentation will be accepted from Registered Candidate only.
Title of abstract should be in sentence case. Do not capitalize the title.
Author(s) name(s)- provide initial first, then name, and then surname. The author who register the form will be considered as the first author.
Affiliated institutions/organisations(s) –
Name of institutions / organisations, city, state and country of origin should be provided without fail.
Email address and mobile numbers of presenting author should be provided.
Text guidelines :
Abstracts longer than 300 words will not be accepted.
A declaration to the bonafide effect of the authorship in the prescribed form(Annexed) should be given by the author along with abstract.
All Scientific abstracts should contain brief but complete statements of Purpose. Methods, Discussions, Results / Conclusions(s).
The abstract must contain sufficient information to provide readers with a pricise understanding of the study/report independent of the presentation.
Abstracts stating that results or conclusions”will be discussed” “will be presented” or of similar nature will not be accepted.
Abstracts should be written in the past tense (i.e.should state what was done and not what is being or might be done).
Non-standard abbreviations (NSA) must be defined in the instance of their first use.
Abstracts must be submitted via website not later than 20th December 2016.
Selection and scheduling
Authors will be notified by the scientific committee regarding the acceptance of their abstracts on or before 26th December 2016. Depending on the quality and the content of the submission, it may be accepted for oral presentation or as a poster. Selection of an abstract for poster presentation does not necessarily mean that it is inferior. The decision of the Scientific Committee will be final in this regard. Negotiations will not be entertained.
Oral abstracts will be presented in separate sessions grouped in accordance with the themes of the conclave.

An expert in the field will moderate the presentations and will chair oral abstract session.
During the Conclave, space will be provided for poster presentation. The criteria will be same as for scientific paper.
The schedule for the presentations of oral abstracts and posters will be intimated to the authors on or before 20th December 2016
Format for oral presentations and posters
All oral presentations will get 7 minutes followed by one minute for discussion, moderated by an expert.
Posters may be made in the dimension 3x4ft and should include all essential information without being too lengthy. It is strongly recommended to include charts, tables figures etc. in the abstracts for effective communication.
Publication of abstracts
All selected abstracts will be published in the post conference souvenir. The organisers will also have the right to publish/decide not to publish the abstracts. However, authors have to register for the conference for the abstracts to be published in the abstract book as well as Vaidyaratnam research journal.
Selection of abstracts and allocations to oral and poster sessions
The author/s can choose his/her abstract to be selected for oral presentation or poster or both by ticking in the appropriate boxes provided. The decision of the review committee will be final. However, if the author wants the abstract to be chosen for poster/oral presentation only, this may be specified.
